Steps

1. 1Prepare the dough

   Prepare chocolate chip cookie dough with chocolate chips mixed throughout.

   Scoop the dough and roll into large balls, then place on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them well apart.

   Bake at 180°C (350°F) until the edges are golden and the centers are still soft.

   The exact timing will depend on your oven; start checking at 10 minutes.

   Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with flaky sea salt while still hot.

   Let the cookies cool on the tray for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack or serve warm.
