Steps

Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cherry tomatoes, sautéing until the tomatoes start to soften.

Add the shrimp to the pan and cook until they turn pink and are almost fully cooked through.

Add the dry pasta directly to the pan along with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer, stirring occasionally until the pasta is cooked and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
Stir frequently to prevent sticking since you're cooking the pasta in the pan.
